What’s your story?
Let’s tell the truth about what it takes to survive in Hawaiʻi. COVID-19 shined a light on many of our rickety, dysfunctional, and oppressive systems in a way that is impossible for us to continue to ignore. While we see reports on who is most likely to test positive for coronavirus, what the unemployment numbers look like as tourism dries up, and what the long-term economic impacts will be, we all know there is more to the story.
We’re inviting you to add your voice to the collective story of what it takes to survive here, during the COVID-19 crisis or the slower moving crisis of daily living in one of the most expensive places on the planet.
Your story allows us to move to measurement beyond numbers, showing the real life experiences of our Local community in ways that graphs and economic data cannot.
